- Alternator Adapter compatible with GM Delco SI to AD and CS130D - 10SI 12SI to AD230 AD237 AD244, For vehicles with a charging system warning light. Alternator Adapter Harness, SI Series to CS130D AD Series. For factory installed applications that used 10SI, 12SI, 15SI, 17SI, 27SI alternators. Allows use of a Delco CS130D, AD230, AD237, AD244 without harness modifications. This does not have a resistor and is intended for use with factory wiring that has a battery warning light or factory resistor wire. This wire is brown on early applications. If your vehicle had an SI, CS130, CS130D or AD series factory installed it will have a light, resistor wire or late models will be computer controlled. It is recommended to check and replace the fusible link at the alternator or starter stud and nut connection point that leads to the original red wire on the 2 wire si alternator connector.
